Got my Nivomat load leveling shocks installed. Curious to see how she rides now while towing. I’ll throw some pictures up once I load her down. d66884def2d7ec5290c6e52aafebf66d.jpga8bcaf40e83683a309615ab511b1c807.jpg

I don’t pull my Sea Ray with my Expedition but it sure looks good. Even with new plugs, wires and coils the gas mileage sucks without even pulling the boat, 10 mpg.

I bought the Expedition with a Snow plow for $2,000. It get’s 6.1 mpg plowing. I put the Expedition in storage April thru November.

Suburban in storage December thru April. Suburban gets 11.1 mpg towing.

Why would you use the Suburban to tow, and not the Expedition? I know for a FACT the Expy has a higher tow rating than the Suburban, just curious?

I think from his explanation is purely about MPG. With my 2016 I am averaging over 20 mpg on the highway, and 10-12 in town. 15.6 overall so far because my wife has a lot of doctor appointments in town.

Sounds obvious but how new is your air filter?

And before the upgrades, pulling my 1955 Ford tractor.

Upgraded to the Nivomat load leveling shocks on my 2015. Now she’s riding level!

Just got an official weight from the CAT scales at the local Loves yesterday and she is tipping the scales at 6900 lbs! Ecoboost doesn’t even break a sweat! 03f410a6abe3dfe9e39c5fc30f86a7b4.jpg

That looks nice!

What is the dry weight of the trailer? How does it do pulling that one?

Dry weight is 5900... It tows great! I got LT tires, a Prodigy brake controller and a Equalizer E4 hitch, but it is under-powered. Doesn't have enough pull great on big hills, so either gonna get a new Expy with the 3 valve in a year or get a F250...

Our trailer is a Keystone Outback 293UBH
