Adjustable pedals gas pedal

So my 04 Expedition Eddie Bauer the adjustable pedals are broken as usual and while I'm not very tall it was uncomfortable even with the seat adjusted all the way. So I removed the black cap from the gear and manually moved the brake pedal as far away as possible though it didn't seem like the gas pedal moved.

How would I manually adjust the gas pedal does anyone know?

theres really no difference...what about a inch. i got it. sucks.lol. just saying.

The brake pedal moved I do believe probably 2 inches it was enough to make it comfortable. I was hoping to do the same for the gas pedal.

My manual says it's supposed to move 3 inches, but mine sure doesn't seem to move that much, it's about an inch, maybe two inches.

Ok thanks I appreciate that I would even be happy with two inches Ill just have to figure out how to manually adjust that.

Maybe tomorrow I can try to take a video of it, or perhaps even measure it, I just keep it in the furthest position since I'm pretty tall...

Thank you I appreacite the offer although the travel doesnt exactly concern me more so whether the gas pedal is alwasy closer than the brake or not. Also how to manually adjust and use the pedal adjust since the power adjust gear is broken.
