lol I was gonna say, "Are you sure you had it tied down?"
Anyone thinking about or have you already done a mod to cover up that misplaced (IMO, lol) BLUE on the Ford oval?? My friend with pointed it out to me and now I can't get it out of my mind, the blue is driving me insane. And Ford made the emblems so HUGE on the front grill.
I've seen some folks online plastic dip them and I've seen some after market black ones that look very cool. Anyone done this mod yet?
I hope Ford eventually starts to offer factory options to get that blue turned to black! Chevy does it, GM is smart. SO many people started modding the Chevy bowtie that now you can just order it in black straight from the factory.

No, I don’t think so. I have a BMW with a washer for the camera and it’s totally flush, doesn’t take any room. Therefore I know the technology exits for small parts and assume Ford uses them too.
I believe the reason for giant front emblems is due to a trend to go BiGGER and BIGGER. I believe it’s an industry trend. I’ve noticed the Cadillac emblem is much bigger on the current Escalade than it was on the last one. Mercedes is guilty too, so are many others.
The problem is that the Ford logo has a deep blue color, which when giant-ized, clashes with most colors on the Expy (IMO), especially with that chrome grill.
Black would be so much nicer, more understated, and classy, again IMO.

Also, how does that bad boy ride? Can you feel and hear a major difference with those wheels/tires? It looks tough.

Those Toyo tires are fantastic! I had a set of BFG KO2’s on there originally, they rode horribly. Really shook the truck when they were cold. Almost no road noise on the Toyos.

That’s a photoshop my brother did for me. The fog lamp bezels you can buy from ford. I think they are like $38 each. As for the grill, it will take a lot of taping and patience.

Plasti dip is not permanent at all. Congress of very easy. In fact, you have tp be careful when you wash it, that you don't scrub it off.
Any further info on your lift? Was it an easy install?

Did you do the chrome delete yet? If so, did you wrap the chrome pieces, replace them with black peices, or paint them?

Lift was a piece of cake. Tried 35” tires, they fit but I needed wider to fill the flares so I backed down to a 34” x 12.5”. Fender flares are in progress now. Meticulous work by Elite Customs!
Interestingly the chrome delete may end up much easier than expected with the 2019 Expedition “Stealth” 303a package bringing a gloss black 5 bar grill amongst other goodies which should be available straight from Ford.
