Plugs on newer models are childs play
And shouldve been on an 09, for that matter
Took my repair shop all day to replace the plugs on my 09. Dealer wanted all day as well.

Took me like two hours, with smoke breaks AND restarting the motor after every couple swapped in because I was troubleshooting a shudder at idle, not just doing routine maintenance.
'09 Expy.
Was actually a spark plug virgin at the time, btw.
Bet I could do it in <45 mins if I didnt stop to check my work, and <30 mins if this was work I did for a living on a daily basis.
All day estimates are for older years with the faulty spark plug design, presuming ~2 broken plugs and extraction thereof
Hell all day for what???? 8 screws to remove coilpacks, lift em out, unscrew 8 plugs, apply dabs of antiseize and dielectric grease, wrench em back in, put coil packs and 8 screws back in
32 screw-unscrew operations involving a grand total of 2 socket sizes, thats IT.
Im glad you are an expert, I am just relaying my experience and what I went through. I also just got a quote for the passenger side exhaust manifold for, get this, $1,300. This is if there is no drilling to get the studs out. I think I will follow you lead and do it myself.
