Are there supposed to be trim pieces under the bars on the roof? Sure looks like there are supposed to be. Even seems to have cut outs on the end for a piece to slide in to. At 6’7” I can see this every time I’m by my Expy. Don’t like looking at what appears to rivets/welds and the unfinished look.

My dealer claims mine didn’t come with these pieces but earlier builds might have.

Do you or don’t you have trim pieces under the rail?

And is it something I can order?

There's gotta be some available to order.
This is from my 2019 Platinum. I still see some welds but there's a black plastic trim piece that is there.

Well I can take a good picture of the 2019 "for the win" as well! I'm competitive.

Haha. I guess I don’t know what your first picture was of as I don’t see any welding. I must have taken mine wrong.
It was from the front. The welds are more visible above the doors

My welds are a mix between your two and I have the black trim piece as well. The welds aren’t as visible as the red one but are just visible under the black trim piece. Just went and took another look. The passenger sides welds are more visible than the drivers side. Strange...

No covering trim on my '19 limited max special edition. I actually noticed this when I was doing my final inspection and thought it was odd... A magnetic stealth right next to it was the same way so I figured it was normal.

This is looking back from the passenger side just above the rear window.

I still don’t see it on mine anywhere. But I believe you. Maybe because mine is white it is less obvious?

Yours is better. I concede.
Same parts, but yours was assembled with better alignment

My 2019 XLT has black plastic trim pieces under there. And if I were 8 feet tall I could see that the roof panel is welded to the side panels but since I am only 5' 10" I can't see the welds unless I get a ladder.
