I’m considering, especially since the closest dealership is at least 30 mins from me and I think black label does pick up for service?

Looking to see if you have found that the ‘extras’ are at all worth the price. Thanks.

They do pick up on service for all the models for the period of the warranty and you can have that added to any extended warranty and/or service plan as well. That was one of the selling points for us... it’s super easy and you get a loaner of equal size and value most of the time. The Lincoln service I’ve experienced has been absolutely fabulous and seems to exceed that of which the Expedition owners get from the Ford dealers. We got a Reserve so I can’t comment on any of the other Black Label ‘extras’ really. It does come with one detail a year but I don’t think a dealer detail service could touch the detailer I use for my Navigator so I would stick with my guy even if I had the black label.

Good info thanks. Yeah, I don’t let dealers wash my cars let alone ‘detail them’ lol

Also actually check with the dealer prior. My MIL has a Reserve and lives about 35 miles from her dealer (out in the country) and they don’t do the pick up and delivery thing that far out of town. They will give her a loaner but she has to schedule over a week in advance and go there to drop it off. She didn’t know this until after the fact, but it’s not a deal breaker for her as I have have been chaining it for her at home.

Yeah I’ll for sure test drive it but that’s interesting to hear that they have a different suspension tune.

I’ll make you a deal, if I get an Navi I’ll trade you my rear tailgate for your expy tailgate then you’ll have some of ‘the look’!

(I don’t like the Navi tailgate at all)

Interesting. The sticker on the Black label says 50 mile pickup?

Also, what exactly are ‘Lincoln access rewards’? Black label comes with 70000...how are they redeemed and for what?

Believe it's credit at the dealer... Most likely it's just a tool to get you to spend more like most points systems... If you don't plan on using the washes and have an Amex (and their Concierge) there is little else there... You do get one free meal a year...

The real question is do you prefer the BL interiors? The leather is BUTTER and everywhere but I am not a huge fan what they do with all the colored plastics. The chalet is probably my favorite BL interior but we are about to have a baby and white seats would not be white for long. My wife is bad enough... Haha. The wood on the nautical one is pretty cool.

We ended up going reserve monochromatic with the russet interior... I am currently a big fan of brown interiors and this one does not disappoint.

Good luck finding your spec! What 2nd row setup are you going with?

Thanks. Yeah. I don’t care about the services...I just like the interiors and the fact that it comes standard with tow package/gearing. I’m picking up one with chalet interior. Its the only color combo I liked. The russet leather is nice but I liked the gray wood in the chalet better than the brown/orange wood . I use this on my leathers to keep them clean and jeans from rubbing off on them. Works awesome but you need to be careful with overspray.

I got captains chairs with the console. I’ll probably regret not getting the bench but it just looks so much better, we rarely use the 3rd row and kids are out of kids seats.

The 50 mile radius for service pick up is their door to door service where they bring the loaner to you wherever you are (within 50 mile radius of dealer) and take your car in for whatever service or work they are doing. It was one of the selling points over the expy for us and we had it added to both the extended warranty and service plan.

Daaaamn! Can't miss eh? Good work. Haha

@carymccarr
Totally agree on the dark "wood". I swapped my Audi to the ash wood, will look into what it would take on the Navi. Might not be worth it.
This will be my first interior with gloss black. Have heard horror stories of easy scratching and constantly looking dirty. I'm going to play around with some wraps and see what it's possible.

Thanks for the heads up on the leather sealer. Will definitely check that out.

I have 2 boys, 3 and 4 years old. The Navigator is immaculate, the dry wall is another story. With 5 I’d be concerned for the entire house, not just the drywall.

Curious what little 'throw ins' I can ask for as I get closer to closing a deal. I usually do all weather mats, cargo organizer and stuff like that...Is there a skid plate kit available for the navi? I dont see it online....

Unless they have added them for 2020 then no, not all of them. It’s got the gas tank skid and one or two others but not the big ones in the front... You need to get the rest from the FX4 Expy.

Try and see if they will put them on and report back. I need them as well and would love to know how that shakes out.
