View attachment 27529 View attachment 27530 View attachment 27531 Well its kinda a wired wireless mount....with about 25 bucks into 2 parts I was able to get a nice solution to that coin holder in the dash of the non trailer package trucks. I bought a spare coin holder so I would not have to touch the original...15 bucks on eBay. No link just gotta find one. I can get the sque for you guys. Second I got a wireless charging phone mount that goes into the air vents. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Qi-Fast-Wireless-Car-Charger-Air-Vent-Mount-Holder-for-Samsung-Note-8-S8-S9-Plus/372318788706?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=641141353425&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Did not like that solution takes up slot of air. Any way in 20 minutes with a dremmel...looks great almost stock. Still cant do apple car play wirelessly but it’s open on bottom all you have to do use a wile to to top usb and your golden. I’ll postvlinks to similar wireless charging mount. This looks super clean I’m happy.

Do you have any pics of the back and how it is attached? I have the wireless charger shown, just looking for ideas to mount it to the coin holder. Thanks

We took delivery of our '19 last week. I couldn't understand WHY a 2019 would have a coin holder in it, and in that location. I like the phone holder idea, but for me and the wife, it's not in an accessible location. Would LOVE to discuss other options for that space.

[instructions coming]

See pics!

I'll find either an Etsy or Ebay link for this particular mounting device. There's also some good descriptions/links in previous posts on this thread.

I got mine used from Ebay as I didn't know about this Etsy seller. So you can try : https://www.etsy.com/listing/671903...-2004-2021?ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1&bes=1

1) Pull out the coin holder, it comes out pretty easy.

2) Drill out a small (~3/64ths) hole from the back. The screw should self thread.

3) Screw in the magnetic holder, it'll look like the pic when done.

4) To get the phone ready, place the steel attach plate (for the magnet) somewhere either in the phone's case or on the back of the phone using double stick tape. Look on Amazon for a set of steel plates in different sizes. I found a set of 10 for like $5.00.

5) Re-insert it, works like a charm.

Viola!

I'll clean/edit this shortly when time allows. It's a bit difficult to post how-to's or DIYs using this version of forum software, but it can be done. We're also limited to <5 pics per post. Admins?

Just received the etsy conversion kit. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, and am wondering (since no instructions) what the clear plastic film on the yellow post it note, and the 3M foam is for?

Fairly certain the seller of the etsy product attaches a YouTube link for install, at least that was the case when I did mine few months ago.
