SO CLEEEEEAN!!! Congratulations!
@Paul M
Well done! Glad you got squared away and its safe at home. One day I'll have a garage again... The struggles of living in old cities...
They really don’t after 5-7 years unless you REALLY take care of it. You’ll still get scratches, and dents, and etched on bird shit, and water spots when you park next to that sprinkler that has chemicals in water to water the grass after the water beads baked into the paint, swirl marks, etc. you still get it allI see a few post about paint correction and ceramic coat all kinds of numbers $$$
I just want to ask who has kept a ceramic coated car paid all that money and kept a car 20+ years as a daily driver can I see pictures to see if it actually made a difference?

If you’re spending $50-100k on a car [and really like your car to always look it’s best] and you’re worried about spending $1-3k for an initial ceramic/correction and then $500 for ceramic maintenance every 12 months you’re doing it wrong.
I get all of my new vehicles detailed, heavily wrapped and coated. I don’t even let the dealer wash it before I sign for it.
They all look new for the 2-5 years that I own them. Not a single spider web to be found. Ceramics aren’t magic force fields but they are materially harder, glossier and offer much higher etch/stain protection than traditional waxes. Maintain it properly and it will look new for your 20 year goal.
