What headlights do I have?

Is there any way I can tell which headlights I have (hid or led)?
I have a 2019 Limited MAX.

Pretty sure FORD doesn’t use HIDs. It’s either halogen or LED

Look at the light itself...if it's round, you have the "normal", if it's rectangle, you have the LED.

Do you have the led halo drl? If so, you have LED's.

Yup, standard haolgen. The LEDs look like this:

You have halogen....all front, rear, backup, and all turn signals. I have same....and just replaced all of them with LED from DD. I recommend.....at least all the fronts. Big diff, and looks the chit too.

On an expy with halogen all around like an XLT:

Front ------Highs-H11, Lows-9005, Fogs-H9, Front Turn-7440/7443 XP80 Amber w/ resistors
Back------Taillight-3156/3157 XP80 Red w/ resistors, Backup-3156/3157 XP80 cool white, license plate-194 HP5 cool white.

The XP80 part just means its the brightest of their 3 offerings for those LED bulbs.

Pretty much plug and play. You will need the resistors for the front turn signal/parking light and rear taillight turn signal/parking light (make sure to test the wires to see which of the 3 is the turn). So two sets. They blink fine on the outside, but on the dash they blink crazy fast (as if burned out). I had to swap gaskets (with the factory halogen bulbs) on the 9005 and H9 bulbs to get them to fit....and also had to file down a plastic molding part that kept the fog lights from fully seating before you can clock/lock them. The fans on the back of these LEDs are large.

Definitely Halogen heads. But he should have the LED tails...those are std. on any limited.

I have a 2019 XLT Max w/ halogens. I recently switched everything over to led, turned load monitors off thru FORScan. I put GTR’s in the tail lights (3157) and these lights have a flicker to them. So I’m wanting to wire these resistors in but not quite sure on which wire to tap other than the black. I’m thinking yellow would be turn indicator, can somebody please confirm what wire i need? No tester handy.
