Anyone from Texas that can let me know how much the dmv renewal in Texas is for a 19 expy?

might be considering a transfer and move. Wanted to see if there’s any difference in renewal fees compared to CA.

I know it mostly evens out in the end but my wallet hurts when I am going to be paying $900+ for registration for one year in AZ.

@GB19XLT what part of TEXAS will you be relocating to? where in Kalifornia will you be coming from?

My suspicion is that the LACK of texas payroll income taxes (compared to your California payroll rapeing) will far and above offset your cost of living in California.

As others have said...when you relocated to Texas...leave that Kalifornia crap behind you - and NEVER look back!

We’ve been looking into McKinney. What I do for work their city has a division, as well as frisco. Which isn’t far from McKinney.

yeah I get ***** in CA taxes. And I see above guy pays $76 for his ‘17?! That beats my $680 for my ‘19 ‍♂️

will definitely leave it all behind and NEVER look back!

I pay about the same for our '20 Max - its not a value assessment like most states, the amount will vary by county but not significantly

We do also pay $7 to get vehicles inspected. Then we turn that paper in with the one posted above that has the other portion of inspection fee included to get our window registration sticker. My 2013 is about the same as the 2017 above.
