Fuel nozzle shuts off when filling

Hi gang,
When I go to fill up, IF I'm 1/4 tank or below, the auto shut off will keep shutting off. Once I get around the half tank mark it is ok and I can hold it wide open. 2020 King Ranch. This did not happen with my 2016.
I have tried different stations, putting the nozzle in differently, nothing seems to work.
You can actually hear it filling up the neck. Maybe a vent issue.

Sounds like a vent tube problem, why not bring it to the dealer when low and have a Tech come with you so thy can see it happen.

my wife's 07 mustang occasionally does this. because it tends to improve when i bounce it on the suspension, i agree it has something to do with the vent, but I've never been able to fix it.

09 Suburban did this to me all the time in the winter months. I even bought an entire new gas tank assembly and it still did it. VERY frustrating when it's cold outside and you can only get about a half gallon before it shuts off. Took forever and was a miserable time, especially when I was low.

Does it happen at different gas stations?
I get gas for my Expy at Costco and never had the problem you describe but, recently they changed the nozzles so that you have to purposely push it in to start the flow and keep a little pressure on it even with the squeeze handle locked on. Normally I don't have any problems at other stations.

My wife drives a 350Z and she has random occasions of the pump stopping when the tank is 1/2 full, it happens at different stations. Sometime bouncing the car lets her finish filling it and other times she gives up and leaves with the tank 1/2 full. It's a vent problem and Nissan has a service bulletin but the car is long out of warranty so the dealer wants $250 or so to fix it.

I have a 2020 platinum and occasionally have this fuel fill problem.

It does not matter what gas station I am at.

I've had it happen and then drive straight to a different station (different brand) and it still stops constantly.

It does this about 10-20% of the time.

Had that problem in my 2020 Ram. Turned out to be the in-line check valve that went bad. Dealer replaced it under warranty (it's in the tank assembly on that vehicle) and the problem went away.

I constantly have this issue and have taken to the dealership and they have ordered a new filler neck to try and solve issue. Been 3 weeks and still waiting supply issues.

It happens to me (2020 XLT) when the tank is 5-15% full, shuts off 5-8 times during filling, mainly while below 50%. Being to dealer 2 times already with this, apparently they didn't fix it, going to #3 in a month or so
