All Dash lights on, No Start.

I have a crazy one for you all. But maybe one of you has seen this before. Back in January my 2012 Expedition 5.4 v3 would hard start. I don't know when the battery was replaced last so I went a head and put a new one in. Started great after that. But after replacing the battery the battery light would come on and off randomly. I figured the alternator was on its way out. Well this week I pulled into my garage and all the lights on the dash lit up. Check Engine light, Break light, traction control, SRS. Well I shut the car down and went to start it again I got nothing except all the lights. It will not even turn over. And now the Anti theft light blinks rapidly at first and then slowly. So I replaced the alternator but nothing changed. I plugged in my OBD II reader but it could not detect the car. So I had it towed to a local shop and and they had it for 2 days and could not figure out what was wrong. They advised me to take it to the dealer. Anyone seen this before.

what do you mean by "hard start" ?
could your starter be bad or going bad ?
Can you measure the battery voltage without trying to start and again while you are trying to start it? You should have 12.6 or so without starting and it should drop to 9.5 - 10 volts while attempting to start.

Check your ground wires make sure you have good ground.

All of that can be caused by a bad ground. Do a voltage drop test on your battery cables.
Positive and negative also do the starter cables and ground.
There can be corrosion under the wire insulation

Thanks. I took it to the dealer and they came back and said it was a short in the battery junction box on the battery wire harness. It was causing a network communication error. Multiple systems were not communicating with the PCM. So the battery wire harness needs to be replaced, problem is that part is on National back order. And 2 other F-150's at this dealer need the same part. So it could be a while before I get my Expedition back.

I have identical problem on an F550. Did the proposed dealer solution solve the problem?
