Can anyone verify this is the correct procedure or where the instructions are to initiate a reboot? Thanks!!!!Happened to mine when I was working on the car it went black and stayed black. Do a reboot.

On the steering wheel hold the SEEK FORWARD and VOLUME DOWN at the same time.
This will reboot the screen and it should work.
I did this on my to fix the black screen. I would not recommend a master reset without trying this first.Can anyone verify this is the correct procedure or where the instructions are to initiate a reboot? Thanks!!!!
Help!!! same issue. 15” Screen is Black. Brand new vehicle less than 5k km. Have tried all the fixes above. Local dealer diagnosed in 15min and has ordered a new CPU. Back ordered… No delivery date available. Ford Customer Service said it could be a year!!!! Cabin AC is stuck on full. Vehicle is virtually undrivable as we get into cooler weather.

They started with just deal with it…too bad… have been escalating with Ford Customer Service. They have offered $60/day for a rental but that doesn’t even get me close to cost for a 7 or 8 passenger vehicle. Would be another $100 a day out of pocket with no end in sightOh man that's terrible. Good idea! I was hoping that it would get resolved but I’m loosing faith.Just file a BBB complaint for a new vehicle. Ford cannot by law keep you from using your vehicle for that long.

They never told me if there was any codes, I will inquire with the dealership on Monday and see if I can get the code.What is the code? If its a specific code, there is a TSB to replace the APIM.
