2022 15 inch display going black, will not turn on after turning truck on and off a couple of times. Anyone know what I should do?

At the risk of sounding rude - take it to the dealer for repair under the vehicle’s warranty.

If you disconnect the battery cable(s) to “reset” the screen, you may erase any stored trouble codes.

Happened to mine when I was working on the car it went black and stayed black. Do a reboot.

I think its this
On the steering wheel hold the SEEK FORWARD and VOLUME DOWN at the same time.

This will reboot the screen and it should work.

My 2018 Sync 3 screen has done this several times. Many times it happens after picking truck up from service. I do have my settings for auto download for software updates and connected to my home wifi.
In any case, later the same day the screen would start up and sync would work normally.
Perhaps your 15” screen might behave in the same manner, and begin working without any a manual reset.

Help!!! same issue. 15” Screen is Black. Brand new vehicle less than 5k km. Have tried all the fixes above. Local dealer diagnosed in 15min and has ordered a new CPU. Back ordered… No delivery date available. Ford Customer Service said it could be a year!!!! Cabin AC is stuck on full. Vehicle is virtually undrivable as we get into cooler weather.

Just file a BBB complaint for a new vehicle. Ford cannot by law keep you from using your vehicle for that long.

They started with just deal with it…too bad… have been escalating with Ford Customer Service. They have offered $60/day for a rental but that doesn’t even get me close to cost for a 7 or 8 passenger vehicle. Would be another $100 a day out of pocket with no end in sight

It has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had… I’ve got 4 kids in car seats and we now don’t have a vehicle that can accommodate us. It has been a nightmare.

They never told me if there was any codes, I will inquire with the dealership on Monday and see if I can get the code.
If it is B108E, then its SSM 50994. Not a TSB but an SSM. My bad.

Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E, 2022 Expedition/F-150 Lightning vehicles equipped with the 15.5 inch center display screen may experience a blank or inoperative screen with an accessory protocol interface module (APIM) diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B108E:01 present. A touch-beep may be heard when pressing the center display screen in screen region where a soft button is expected to be displayed even though nothing is displayed on the center display screen. This concern may be intermittent and resetting the SYNC module (APIM) may temporarily restore screen function. To correct this condition, follow the Workshop Manual Section 415-00 to replace the 15.5 inch center display screen. For claiming, use base part 10D885 and the applicable labor operations of Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

I was worried about this once ford went to that full sized screen.. All climate controls are on that thing
That sucks.
