Part number for max ends in 600B
Thank you! Google brought me immediately to the correct page on Ford's site. I have no idea why I couldn't find it manually. Now hopefully my dealer has it in stock, because apparently I can't spend my points on the site. Sigh.

So the the verdict is in. The dealer road forced balanced the tires and 3 could not be balanced. So they ordered 4 new tires after getting an ok from FMC. They ordered 4 because the 22 inch General Grappers in that design have been discontinued. I assume the tires had bad flat spots from sitting for 3 months waiting for chips. I also ordered a cover on ebay for a 2020 expedition OEM ford part around 100 dollars. Waiting to get that on. Will keep you posted on the ride and cover.

Did the new tires fix the vibration? Mine is not perfect yet, and I’m on my second set also.

Its in the shop as i write this will know today. Taking off on a 200 mile road trip tonight. Will post the results. Also recieved my engine cover 2021. Part number JL 1Z 6A949 A from Ford. It won't seat because of some A/C stuff? on the left side? Did they re route something and actually change the engine form 2021 to 2022? Online this engine part # cover lists to 2022, but I dont think so. Maybe its me...but it just wont go down. Anyone else have any feed back on this?? And didn't come with the lock down nuts either...separate part #.

I also tried installing an engine cover, in my case the Ford performance cover. It does not fit either. They have added a bracket with hoses/wiring over the top of the throttle body and also re-routed some of the other hoses/lines on top of the engine along the passenger side. I have the SPP and I cannot see how any of the original engine covers will fit. I even tried trimming the cover to clear the bracket above the throttle body. Still won't fit. Gave the cover to my son who has a 2020 F150. Fit without issue.

Yep, Ford gets one banana for no engine cover on the 2022 expedition! Going to return my cover. As for the flat spot tires, drove 200 miles on the new and very smooth. Moral of the story, if your new Ford sits for almost 4 months in Kentucky in the winter months waiting for chips and you drive it off the lot and there is so much vibration in the steering wheel and seats, you most likey know from this thread that your tires have flat spots. The new General Grapper that replaced the discontinued OEM that came with the car has more thread thickness and a more aggressive tread pattern. Problem solved. I am sure in the deep bowels of Ford in Detroit, they know this may be the tip of the ice berg until they can get cars to the dealer in 6 weeks like pre covid. Getting back to the cover, while waiting for the tires at the dealership yesterday, I kill time talking to service advsiors, parts mgr and a salesman....no cover on a expedition I ask, whats up? all said first time they are hearing of it..really?? Tow the company line. Maybe some vendor will see a profit for the 2022 expedtion line and make a cover that fits. Mine has the gray clips and tie down screws on the engine. like there was a cover planned but for some reason Ford just didn't let it happen.

Hey so I have 500 miles on my 2022 and tires have the flat spots. Dealer asked me to go 1000 before they would do anything. Any advise in dealing with the dealership?

I might suggest anyone that before signing on the line to roadtest the vehicle doesnt have any vibrations. Surely they will likely solve that problem very quickly.
