No. The Raptor Rs already here. 6.2L is dead. Super Duty phased it out already too.

I think these rumors are just that.
Ford hit a nice balance on the timberline, just need to offer it in a Max version also and a bit more of the Raptor tech, like locking diffs instead of clutch based, maybe a bit off the SEMA truck. It comes with the same raptor engine and tuning already, I highly doubt ford drops a HO V8 into these.
Unless it's used to increase towing capacity or fuel economy, I don't see any engine changes coming in the next version for 2025.

Perhaps the Navigator might get a higher output Hybrid system or V8 to compete with the Escalade-V.
I'm not seeing either market share or competition for Ford to build a Raptor R like 8 passenger off-road full-size body on frame SUV.

Ford would have to do some major reworking of the rear suspension and frame rails to get the needed travel. Could it be done? Of course. Same goes for putting a V8 in one, it just doesn't make sense from a cost and development standpoint. We won't be buying one, plenty happy with our '22 Timberline, and I'll hopefully be happy with my 5spd swapped '03 Navigator.

Timberline has the same HO engine as the Raptor and Dual Exhaust, fans, etc. The suspension may not be Raptor but its really good and aftermarket coil overs and such would essentially make it a Raptor for the most part.

The F-150 all ready has the 5.0L Coyote, the 5.2L is based off of Coyote architecture and can sit in the same footprint. Even the owners manual in my 2023 F-150 includes both motors, the underhood view is similar besides the blower. The EcoBoost is much different. It is much easier to justify additional powertrains with the amount of F-150s sold than the low # of Expeditions. I’m not so sure you’ll see the Predator 5.2 as cool as it would be. They are right, the segment/competition isn’t there. And with the HO EcoBoost all ready being offers the PowerBoost (besides economy) really offers no performance gains. The battery and motor adds a lot of weight that the HO EcoBoost isn’t hampered by.
