My 2019 expedition randomly will not start. It has been to the stealership multiple times and they cannot recreate the problem. Last time, they said they reprogrammed the computer but it started doing it again the same week. When I get into the car, I push the brake and hit the start button like normal and it dings and every service light comes on but the vehicle won’t start. Anyone have any ideas? Battery is good.

Battery sensor monitor should be reset (if the battery was changed)

Yeah I tried checked those too. We bought it with 30k miles and it’s done it since 40k or so. We’re at 65 now and still can’t get it figured out. Starting to wonder if it is the starter or a computer issue.

Could be the brake pedal switch. Do the brake lights come on (might need someone to look). Sounds like what happens when you press the Start button with foot off the brake.

Believe the brake lights work but will check. And when it does this the remote start won’t work. Also tried using the app to start it and it won’t work either.

Also realized that it might be easier to verify the green LED in the start button comes on when the brake pedal is pushed

Just had this happen to me today. Stopped to fill up the tank and when done……every light lit up, temp warning, advance trac, etc. hit ok button multiple times to clear errors and powered down, then started. Nothing on ford pass app and dealer says if not in fault not much they can do? Anyone get resolution?

Hello, currently experiencing the same issue, wondering if you got this resolved? I just had a transmission rebuild. Not sure if it has anything to do with it
