I have a 2019 Exp Max Limited. Taillight is out. Can I replace individual bulbs or LEDs or do I need a whole new assembly?

If the amber turn signal is out, you can replace the bulb. If any of the other parking/brake lamps have failed, you need a whole new housing. Unfortunately LED's are not serviceable.

It's been a while since I had mine apart, but I know you can change the backup lights to LEDs.

I have the tailight apart right now. My taillight bulb is good and the LED brick works, but the red light around the perimeter does not. I guess this is just another set of LED bulbs??

2019 factory LED tail lights, such as on a Limited, have no servicable components inside. I just looked them up to see what they will cost to replace, at Tasca Parts, they are just under $1000 each. KL1Z-13404-B (Right) or KL1Z-13405-B (Left) for 2019-2021. Fordparts suggested $1500 MSRP.

Thanks man. That’s the conclusion I came to after tinkering with it a bit. $1000 for a taillight is wild.
