Radio/infotainment issues build 22251

I have been having issues with the radio resetting to AM or to the Sirius ID on startup. I also had lost hotspot x 1 day but this seems to have resolved.

I called support number for electronics and was told there is an issue with this sync version 22251, Ford is aware, and that it is “priority”. Nothing to do but wait for update.

Anyone else having issues?

Use Cyalabs Sync 3 Updater to install 3.4.23188, so far every person that has installed that version, it has resolved the issues with 22251.

Yes, exactly the same thing happened to me.

Same. It wasn't coming up as an available update over wifi, but I was able to download it onto a USB drive.

It doesn't show available for my 2019 Platinum. but I've been running it for over a month, finding elsewhere. It is very stable.

Are they in the root directory of your thumb drive? Also are you formatted to ExFat?

Yes, I bought a new drive just for this and formatted it ExFat, with nothing else is on it. I've tried two different thumb drives and keep getting the same error.

If you haven't already done it, re-download it and start again. I do know there are issues with certain usb drives. I always suggest SanDisk.

You need to make sure you follow the instructions to a T. Read every word and they show you what files you are expected to see unzipping. Even make sure you are formating your drive properly, loading the sw properly, prepare for install, and install sw properly.

Just use CyanLabs Updater! It builds the drive for you! You will have FAR less of these weird issues. It will also allow you to install it on any 4th Gen with Sync 3 even if the owners site doesn’t list an update.
