I got an 04 EB Expy and am NOT a fan of running boards. Just wonder what nerf bars would look like. I have the burgundy/bronze color combo. What do ya think

N-Fab Nerf bars, I love mine, my truck is a gen 1, but I would put them on a gen 2 or 3 as well.

Anything can be painted if it is prepped correctly.

those appear to have a smooth texture compared to my rough boards...when i get my paint job done i'm looking at having PTM running boards

but they help getting in and out of the truck...at least for my 5'1 wife...lol

I feel the same way. And they are SO bulky it's a PITA when you are trying get to the oil pan bolt when doing an oil change!

True, and it's not good for the seats to "slither" in and out of the truck

i've never had a problem with them while doing an oil change...no i did have a prob getting in the the area where the oil can is...PITA!!! couldnt get my hands/arm in there good to get it off...i dont know why they put it in there like that...if i couldve got the drip plastic off it wouldve made a world of difference...never again...the time it took me to get it off i couldve paid someone to do the change...so thats what i do now...from buying the oil, renting the stall and time invested...paying is better...
