Game time decision and figured I’d look to the pros for help.

Ordering a 24’ Max tomorrow. Final price between an XLT (202a, special edition, HD trailer, sunroof) and a Limited Stealth (regular not HO) with the same stuff plus the CCD sport tuned suspension is ~7 thousand.

Is the jump to a limited worth 7 grand??

Seems like I’d be losing out on the CCD suspension, power running boards, leather, B&O sound system, LED tail lights and looks of course. Not sure of anything else of value. Car seats will line the rear heated seats for the life of the vehicle. Thanks!

If you like the xlt, why not get a limited low and you get most of the stuff on the stealth except 22in wheels and ccd amd you'd save a cool 4k

For me I like the extras.........except for the hole in the roof. The roof slider just seems like problems down the road. Doesn't appeal to my liking. Just me.

Got me thinking tho. 6100 difference if I drop the stealth. So I’d be losing out on appearance of stealth and the CCD.

Is there a difference in the 360 camera between the base model + HD trailer. And then the higher trim 360 Split View. It says Split View on the higher trims and just 360 camera on the lower trim.

For what it is worth. I liked my xlt better than my platinum...
I also liked the xlt with bilsteins WAY better than the CCD when it comes to towing.

The leather is nice and a little easier to clean with the kids and dog but that alone wouldn't be a deal killer for me.
The power running boards are a constant maintenance item for me in our use. We are just coming out of winter and the passenger side only goes up sometimes, I will be washing it and lubing it for the next few months to get it back to consistent operation again.

I do like the led lights but again not a deal killer. The B&O is nice but I have a fair bit of hearing loss so that all doesn't matter much to me either. I also do not like the 22's on my platinum, not sure what the limited comes with but I much preferred the 18's on my xlt for my use.

We almost never use the sunroof at all. Like maybe a couple times in the last year.

There are only two things I hope I could have with my XLT, rain sensing wipers and 6 extra speakers. Front parking sensors are nice but I don't need them personally. If it were me, I would order a limited with 301A package. 22 in. wheels, moonroof and power deployable running board are nothing but trouble to me. However, moonroof is standard on limited trim.

It's your money so you should do what you want, unless you want to give it to me :)

We bought a 22 XLT with special edition package and it has all the things we wanted and none of the things we didn't want or need. Not once have I thought that I wished I bought a limited instead. Look at them both and then decide.

If it was the HO engine then id pay the $7000 more for it. The limited will just have more cool feature that will break and cost a fortune to replace anyways like the LED lighting etc..

It was not the HO model. Just the Limited with basic stealth package etc.

Ended up with the base limited. Saved about 6500$.

I had the 2018 Limited for 6 months, sold it, and bought the 2018 Platinum version. My motto, "When in doubt, upgrade". The motion seats and extra HP were the clinchers for me. I have never regretted that move to the Platinum.

My motto is, "when in doubt, downgrade, don't pay for features you never or rarely use". lol, just kidding.

Interesting how important different options are to different people. I turned off the rain sensing wipers the first week I had them. We saw lots of variable rain and the wipers changing speed every few seconds was annoying. They've been on manual ever since.

Love my power running boards and no issues with them. Truck looks so much better with them tucked, but it's nice to have them to help folks that need a little step to get in.

On the CCD thing, I'm not so impressed. $7K could get you a really well set up aftermarket suspension system. I do love the rest of the Stealth Limited that we got though.
