Went a little crazy on it. Rebuilt timing at 90k with fresh cams, phasers locked, Melling 340HV, new cam followers, 5 star performance tuned, ratcheting tensioners. 3/2 readylift, DNA motoring headlights, Raptor grill, Surco safari rack, Nighlite Led bars 50 and 4 X 40 inch, 1100 watt 120v inverter, solar panel, and powerstop brakes. Upgraded stereo with a dual din 10.1 inch display and pioneer 6x8 4 way speakers X 4 and 300 watt 10 inch sub concealed in original rear compartment. Rhino 20x9 15 offset with Toyo Open Country At3 285/60/20. Onto the final leg to finish chrome delete, pillar wrap, tint, and add a brush guard with winch.

2017 w/ ready lift & 5100 bilsteins. The "before" pic shows the stock ride height and stock wheels. The "after" pic shows the ready lift & raptor wheels & tires. In the end the front was too high for my taste, the control arm angle had affected the handling, and I was worried about ball joint life. So I took the front ready lift spacers out and put the bilsteins on the highest setting ("dirty" pic) and it handles much better now. Also added 1/4" spacers on the rear. no rubbing on the 315/70/17 K02s. Its our camper now, as I took the center seats out and built a bed platform and added an Iceco fridge.

Thanks! Almost just how I want it, still a few things left to do before I’m 100% satisfied

@JExpedition07 i did not know him. I enjoy parking next to similar trucks like these that park at the back of parking lots. Parked in front of a suburban one time and the owner was walking out in front of me. He stated “man that’s a nice truck” to his wife who then asked “where did we park?” I politely pointed out they were behind my truck and they both laughed.
How have you enjoyed the 5 star tune you have. Sorry i know i am replying to a super old comment. Do you still have the expy?

Hi,
I recently became a happy owner of a 2014 Ford Expedition. Currently, I'm battling rust, replacing the rockers, and preserving the frame. I would like to lift it. I have already bought a ready lift kit for it. Now, the main question is about tires and rims. Will 35/12.5 R18 tires fit on 18x9 rims? And the second question is, will the tires rub? What offset should I choose for these rims?

Thanks for any help

What’s the lift kit height?

My ‘07 has a 3/2 lift and I run 35/12.5R17 BFG KO2 tires. I had to trim the front bumper just a little as well as the area near the running boards.

3”/2.5” eBay spacer lift
Detroit Axle front and rear shock replacements
20x10 -18 offset Moto Metal M0802
35x12.50x20 Kenda Klever R/T KR601
Repositioned rear brake lines so they weren’t tight at full extension
Trimmed about 2” off power steps on the front sides
Trimmed the plastic fender on both sides of wheel
Trimmed valance up front

Still rubs a tad when reversing, and going into driveways at a faster speed

MPH was off about 7mphs. At 45mph on the dash I was going 52mph.

Anyone running Icon 2.5 coil overs front & rear and had to adjust the factory set height? I Just installed the icon kit w LT285/70/18 tires (so just under 34” tire) on Icon rebound rims . From lurking on this forum, it would seem that others w Icon 2.5s suspension and larger tires have more clearance b/t top of tire and wheel wells, mine seem a bit low compared to those photos. Wondering if anyone adjusted higher that the “recommended/factory set height” in order to get additional top end clearance or perhaps my set of Icon coilovers werent accurately set at the factory.
