So "stock" means those tires are 55's ?These are stock sized 285’s on the stock 22’s

But yea, I agree about needing to leave room for the snow/ice...
Yep, I figured as much, after thinking about it for a minute after commenting...With 22's 45 is stock height

Shouldn’t be a problem we are coming from a 21 Explorer that had the sport package 20’s and had a lot less wheel well clearance than the expy. Here in Idaho where I’m located we don’t get crazy snowed in. And if that did happen than we’ll hop in my Super Duty Tremor.Keep in mind if your in snow/ice country the stock tires vs wheel well clearances seem to get really tight with packed in snow and ice. I honestly don’t know if I could bump up to 60’s without having big issues with the snow packing and ice in the winter.
Just something to keep in mind
And you could run that unlifted?I used to drive on 33x12.50xR22 which is pretty much 315x45xR22 and there wasn’t rubbing. It looked really good.
Yup. No issues, see the attached picture. And you could run that unlifted?
I have these same tires and size on my expedition - stealth wheelsThese are stock sized 285’s on the stock 22’s
I’m actually leaning towards 285/55/20 or 275/60/20 now. Slightly more to the 285/55 since it will essentially be same size as my spare.I was thinking about going to a 285/60 but instead went for 275/60 from 275/55 on the 20” rims. I felt the 285 width, while looking good, might be more of a hinderance than help, with maybe rubbing.
I know this doesn’t give you the picture you are looking for.
Where did you order them from?Have some 20's on order...
