Tuning for Timberline in

Is there a tune available for 2024 Timberline? It has a lot of power, but looking for more

Not sure anyone has been able to unlock the PCM/TCM for the 2024s yet. I believe the 2023s are now tunable but it would be best to contact a tuner and check to see what model years are able to be tuned.

Burger has the JB4, if you already have HO engine it’s a smaller bump than those with standard engine. See photo. I’m still going to do it later this year before towing season.

The Livernois tune is the one I found also. They say the bump is 80 HP on the HO engine and all the driving modes are still intact.

Will need a 2023 ECM to make it work. The 2024 modules are locked down...

Nothing out there yet. Any tuning will need to have a 2023 ECM installed to be able to tune. OEMs are getting tougher and securing their systems better.

I think it has been mentioned before, but there is now a Ford Performance tune available, similar to what they put out there for the Ranger Raptor, Bronco, etc.

Not a tone of extra performance, but I'd be interested to see how the throttle mapping is impacted (i.e. just in sport mode, or in normal as well) and some peace fo mind with the available warranty.

I did the Ford Performance calibration on my 2024 Timberline. The power difference is minimal, but the transmission tuning is great. It’s like it’s always in the right gear and ready to go. I’ve been really pleased with the tune.

It's in US only..

I guess you just connect it to OBD and use touchscreen on the device provided, it's done withing few mins usualy

I believe anyone can do it, but to have the 3 year / 36k warranty, a certified shop or Ford stealership complete the install.

I asked my local dealer, and they were asking $200 to complete the installation. The out the door price for the tuner and installation was closer to $1k, so still cheaper to source on the internet and have them install, but not by much.

For timberline it doesnt worth 10 extra hp and little bit torque, also it's US only cars
