Status on mine was changed to "In Production" as of today. It was originally scheduled for the week of 5/12. Maybe the supply issues are easing? CJ Dave.

Mine was scheduled for 5/5 and changed to "in production" on 4/29, so they look to be flipping these to in production a week ahead. You should be able to see your window sticker as well.

Northgate Ford Cincinnati. The 2025 Expedition inventory has tripled in the 50 mile radius of Cincinnati according to my count per Ford.com inventory search. Thanks so much for the window sticker link. I have looked at the sticker. Maybe Ford will officially send that link to me in the next day or two? Is that the way the system works? The last car I ordered was a 1977 Thunderbird. Things have changed a bit since then. CJ Dave.

NOT in production here :(
I just received my third "we’ll be in touch with updates on your vehicle’s scheduled build date, when it’s built, and when it will be shipped to Granger Motors, Inc.." email. Ordered early February. My order seems to be a lower priority; not sure if it is the configuration (Platinum Max SPP in Wild Green) or the dealer or my price (~4% under invoice) or just where my order was received compared to other orders.

Mine is Platinum Max Ultimate in Agate Black Metallic with Mojave Dusk interior. I used the "X Plan" pricing. I can see my window sticker online and I noticed "Special Order" on the bottom of the sticker. I'm unsure what that means. I ordered mine 2/27. CJ Dave.

Mine is "In Production for the same build week also started a week early. The "special order" simply means the order was put in for a specific customer and not for dealer stock. it's tied to your name but doesn't guarantee delivery of a vehicle. Financing and other things will need to happen first. I ordered a Tremor in Wild Green, I'm excited to get it.

OK. Thanks. I'm retired so I spend a lot of time trying to not check my order status 40 times a day. LOL. This is a new experience for me as the last vehicle we ordered was a 1977 Thunderbird. My how things have changed. Good luck. CJ Dave.

Just got my email for a build date starting the week of the 26th. This is my first time ordering a vehicle like this, kind of exciting. If it actually starts being built that week for those who has done this before when should i expect completion?

Normally, based my past experience maybe 10 days and 1 month will be max. However, my order is "IN PRODUCTION" over 2 month

Going to Texas, my gut feeling is that your new Expedition will be loaded onto a railcar at Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville KY. If KTP has chucked out enough Expeditions, Navigators, and Super Dutys going to the same general location, that entire railcar may move to Texas intact. If not, the railcar will be moved from KTP to a "mixing center". At the mixing center, vehicles from various assembly plants will be collected into shipments going to the same destination. Once loaded onto a railcar in the Louisville area for its destination, the railcar will probably move in a train destined for Nashville TN where it will be switched to a train for New Orleans LA or Memphis TN. At either of those two cities, the railcar will be interchanged to another railroad for delivery to a transloading yard in Texas where your vehicle can be moved from the railcar to a truck for delivery to your dealer.

So, yes, the previous comment about it taking as much as a month from production to delivery is correct. Once your new Expedition is built, don't get too anxious waiting for delivery because it could be several weeks.

Okay so mine went into production 8/4 but now they pulled the date from “in production”. Anyone know what that means?

As long as it says in production I think you are fine. I don’t recall a 100% but I think the date might go have been missing on mine as well once they started.

Originally it had the date of 8/4 next to it and I’ve read usually it takes 2 days to build so weird it’s been a week and still shows in production

Mine went into production on 8/5. It was a week earlier than the scheduled date of 8/11. It also has the date removed and only shows in production. Maybe it just means everything is ready to go and all the parts are there so it can move forward and be built when it gets it's place in line by the actual scheduled date?

I noticed some last week week into production 8/4 and shipped 8/6 but mine did nothing. Ordered a max with drivers package and 2nd row bench. Hoping there isn’t any sort of part shortage .

Mine took about a week or a little over back in June.
