What is the modem-like sound in the dash?

Hello expedition friends,

My new 24 and a friend’s 24 both make an old school modem style sound that comes from behind the speedometer for the first few miles when you start out driving.

And electronic sound that sounds like the initial connection of a 14.4 baud modem.

My Service guys who are good have no clue so I am turning to the experts.

Thank you in advance, Bob

Both our seat ventilator fans are equally noisy - and it's an inconsistent noise, much like an old internet dial up model when it connects.

Actually, I was thinking about this and knew there was another noise I'd heard that better described the sound the seat fans make. And then I remembered...

Say's the guy from the far north who probably never turns it on. :rotflmao:
Well… I get to use it from June to about beginning of September. Unless I do a 700 mile trip in one day. Matter effect had it on couple of days ago on a 400 mile trip. The driver side and the passenger side too! :smiley-face-popcorn

I have both on, as well as the rear ac most of the time. It is just too friggn' hot. Even with the breeze off the ocean it is too hot to be outside.
