2010 Limited | Windshield washer not working.

Howdy y'all, on my 2010 Expy Limited, the windshield washer worked for a litlle bit not long ago and stopped spraying water, hoses are all connected, and the washer fluid is almost full. Anyone know why it is doing this? Any suggestions for how to fix? Thanks in advance!

Front or rear, or both?

If you didn’t know there is one motor and depending which way it turns (clockwise or anti-clockwise) it sends water to the front windscreen or the rear window. So if it is working on one window but not the other it is usually a broken water line between the pump and the window. If neither window works then the pump might be faulty or a wiring issue or fuse. As suggested, let us know which window is not getting water and any other details nd we can send better suggestions.

I know for certain the front doesn't work.

It might be the pump, back doesn't work either. All fuses are good, inside and out.

Washer fluid hoses are intact.

My 2010 had the same problem last year, I bought a new pump from Amazon. When I pulled the old one to replace it, I discovered a film of debris and YUK (kinda like the dryer lint) on the pump screen. Works fine after cleaning,

Does sound lIke the pump, if you can, I would try connecting a light bulb (not an led bulb) to the two motor wires and see if the bulb lights up when you try to spray water to both the front and rear windows. If the bulb lights up then it’s definitely the pump, but if the bulb doesn’t light then it’s electrical. The pump is 16 years old, so not unreasonable that it might fail from old age.

I would assume a standard 12v automotive bulb? If it is the pump, I found one online at my local autozone, so I could just order that.

I will try to find that and clean it later today or maybe tomorrow and see if that helps. Here's to hoping that fixes the issue. I kind of think it's the pump, but hey, I could get six gallons of gas for the price of the washer pump if this works.

I took off the passenger headlight and did as you said with a voltmeter instead (as I did not have a extra bulb on hand), it gets power, I guess the pump is broke. But it's really easy to get off— at least after you get the headlight out...

I did the same thing when mine started messing up, removing the passenger headlight made it much easier to access the reservoir and pump.
