Best power inverter

IMO 700a is way too light, I would think a 1500w inverter would be minimum for any appliances like coffee maker etc.
An appliance that draws 10 amps at 120v will draw 100amps at 12v so you will also need batteries and good 4ga cables, for this I would suggest a couple of 6v golf cart batteries.

If it was a PS2 slimline, I would have had a power supply for you that was powered directly off of the truck. I made one for a guy a few years back when he was having interference issues between his PS2 and his screens. The alternator noise was raising havoc. I made him a custom power supply and all was good.

As for power inverters, I would honestly tell you to stay away from them. You can drain a battery in a heart beat, if you get a setup and cheap out on it that has a deep cycle battery, it can really create some havoc, and if you are doing things right, I would tell you to step up to atleast a 200 amp alternator is not something in the 250-275 amp range. You are going to need it when using a power inverter of any size.
