2007 FORD EXPEDITION.jpg
Does any body know anything about the RIZE INDUSTRY lift kits for the 2007+ Ford Expeditions? Would it be worth it? The guy at the 4wheel parts store here in Utah quoted me $5500 dollars which include all the drivelines and hardware, not sure if its what I want to do yet, I currently have a 2" inch leveling kit on my 2008 Expedition right now, any knowledge or oppinions would be great thanks. (picture posted is of a 2007, looks awesome I think but not sure), here is what mine looks like now with the 2" leveling kit installed

Dude...

You just have 1/2 of the gear... That 5.5bill kit is just for the lift..
If you want to get their custom coilovers, it will cost another 5+bills...
Although you can get Kings coilovers for 1/2 the price...

Cheers :)

No it will not fit. Do a search for a thread that someone did asking about disconnecting the advanced trac system on our tucks. No lift company will make a lift kit for the 3rd gen bc of it, trust me. That truck you posted is out of cali, they removed the custom one off kit bc it kept breaking axles.

If its an unstable lift for the 2007+ expeditions how do I go about lifting it higher than the 2 1/2" I already have on my Expy? these things are too low to the ground and how come it works on the 2003-2006 Expeditions when not the 2007+ Expeditions? now i'm stumped, about ready to just go buy a first gen Expy and customise and forget about my 08.

ya my dad had a heart to heart talk with me about this, if i'm paying 32K for this rig i might as well keep it nice because i'm 25 years old right now and who knows when and if i'll be able to get a vehicle this nice again, plus it looks sweet the way it is I think.

Did you even read the thread I posted? It answers your question. It has nothing to do with it being unstable. The rear suspension of the 3rd gen is totally different then the 2nd gen. Read the thread.

Either way i decided to leave the 2008 Expy alone, main thing I want to do to it now is a custom paint job but its not needed plus the front clip is all new and freshly painted minus left fender from my wreck but ya it wont be any taller which means i can find an older first gen Expy to build up for rock crawling.

1st gen with a SAS should make a rock crawler. but why do you want an eddie bauer? would think for a crawler you would want a bare bones expy.

well i have alwayse wanted leather in my truck but my 3rd gen doesnt have leather plus I want the inside to be mostly stock looking with the exception of a roll cage, i want confort and a small amout of lugurious feeling to it but then transform the outside, every now and again i see a built 03ish king ranch supercrew f150 with baja fenders lift and all the works done to it, people think i'm nuts for wanting a Expedition and think I should get either a Bronco or a Jeep but I want a unique truck that you wouldnt think to see on the trail wheeling, I havent decided how i'm going to build the Expy yet but I do apreciate everyones coments and tips, first things first I need to buy the Expy first but till then i'm going to price parts and see whats out there I do know i would like to have the Expy lifted around 4"-6" tho. ive been looking for an estate green EddiBauer but so far thefew i've seen are pretty much beat up and not worth it to me but i'll find one sooner or later if i'm patient.

I have looked into those i've seen those for sale but they are overpriced and are a bit too big for what I want, the Expy has the looks and style i'm looking for plus the ever since the first gen Expy hase come out i've had my eyes on wanting one so bad and told myself i'm getting one one day but I saw the 08 Expy on the dealer that was used in 09and was a dealer buy back stickered for 22K which at the time was a mojor steal then and just couldn't pass it up. but the rising gas prices and people not buying big fulsized SUV'S is why it was so cheap, brand new my truck was priced around 37K-40K so I got a good deal I think if not for that I don't think a kid who is 22 at the time would have been able to purchase a nicce newish suv this new, i'm now 25 and still love it but am looking to buy a first gen and still keep this Expy as well.

good deal. i had a 97 expy that i got in 03 for 12k. then in 05 saw my 03 at a dealer for 20k. couldn't pass up a deal like that. I probably would've kept my 97 if it was a 4x4. but it wasn't and when money got a lil tight in 07 had to let it go. Good luck on finding a nice EB.
