If you are going by the numbers, you’ll hit the GVWR of the Expedition long before you hit the GCWR. Tongue weights are usually 12-15% of trailer weight, and the published numbers are dry. No propane, no batteries. Don’t forget the weight of the hitch. I think our trailer has a 550lb listed...

I sold the Expedition and bought a more appropriate tow vehicle. If anyone is interested in the light bar I used on the Expy, I'd probably sell it. I'm not sure I can mount it on the new truck.
I just went out to the garage and took a few photos. The first is looking down at the top of the bar, taken through a grill slot. Second is a close up of the end of the light bar, and the third is from under the Expy looking up at where the bar is mounted.
I would have preferred to go higher...
Mine is a soye 240W bar that I believe is about 26" wide overall, and the mounting tabs fit onto the rails and I bolted in place. I'll try to get a photo.
Our 2009 Limited doesn't have an OD on/off. There is a tow/haul button, but I don't believe it locks out OD. And after rereading the 1st post, I see this thread is about 2004...
