Ordering brake pads and rotors

I'm doing a search & scrolling threads but if anyone can give a quick skinny on these... My thanks in advance... Main question is 1869 or 1869-36 because of the gross weight... It's a daily driver & the 36 with metallic pads has me wondering if there's a huge difference?... I could do with a...- designit

I'll "check" my previous suggestion to wait on the "sparks"... A plugged cat "could" be the source of all of your problems?... (BUT) I really don't know for sure... Maybe I'd run it to an exaust shop first I suppose? (unless you can weld pipe)... Cut it all out with a sawsall in that case...- designit

And the CEL is not on? shake: check gas: check sparks: ? I'd worry about the sparks last... Sounds like you need to give it a good going through under the hood: cops / plugs / MAF / TB / filters etc... Got a code reader? -- if not, that's your first purchase. Good luck.- designit

starter engages when off
Leaking windshield. (comes to mind first) -- does it act up after it rains? get that sealed & allow the GEM module to dry out. I've had everything from stereo, to headlights, to starter / wipers / HVAC issues because of a leaking windshield. -- They didn't go bad, they do their own...- designit

(Just talking jiberish outloud here) You're wiping that P0304 code out, right? Did you swap 1 & 4 injector? Your wires @ the injector aren't crossed up are they - I don't think they're long enough to cross 3 & 4 but who knows & I assume that would give you 303 and 304 codes?- designit

They're all good... You'll hear various replies from various folks about various things and why they're the best various coils... (hogwash) Just buy what you can... You can get 8x @ sub 100.00 off ebay... They work great!... some will say not to buy... others will say accel (or =) & others...- designit

(yes, what k5 says... Sorry k5, I didn't see you there...) -------- #4 & 8's are a pain that's for sure... (if your codes are in those holes) My experience tells me that even a 'known' working coil will trip a code... I played grabass with one (or more) for days before getting them all...- designit
