Sorry for seeing this post so late. Hopefully you still have the truck and were able to sort out the issue. It sounds very similar to an issue I had with my 06 earlier this year. It turned out to be the throttle body sensor. What a headscratcher of an issue to track down. Good luck.- dlascoskie
