How much did you pay for your Expedition?
$1300 for a 00 Xlt, cloth interior, awd, and 18" rims. It had 170k+ but it ran like brand new and drove like a dream. Never had any work done to it besides when a sparkplug came aloose. Bought it from the St louis impound auction.... this is an auction were they are no keys to any cars and...- Fastcat

Trans shifting problem
Doing some research it seems the 2-3 shift accumulator and spring commonly fail in these trannys. The spring is very likely to break. Has anyone got any experience changing these? If so any tips?- Fastcat

It has 213k on it and ill check that sensor. And fliud and filter was changed about 2syrs ago. Abot 25k miles ago- Fastcat

Trans shifting problem
I have an 01 with a 4.6L. When driving the trans stays in second gear (then the od light flashes), when i get to around 40mph or about 3k rpms i can take me foot off the accelerator and the trans will shift into 3rd gear and drive semi normally but around 50-60mph it will shift in to od but it...- Fastcat

Do u mean u cant get the scanner to read the computer? If so is it not powering up once u plug it in, or does it power up but when u try to read the codes it says no data link? If u have any one of those problems take everything out of the cigarette lighter and check fuses. there are 2...- Fastcat

codes P0401 & P1131
It was my dfpe sensor. My mechanic said both of those codes go hand in hand. Then he popped my hood and said i have the original (metal) dfpe sensor on there and they are notorious for corroding in the inside and the new ones (replacement) are plastic instead of metal. It must be tire wear.... My front right tire (the same side it pulls to when all this happens) is bald on the outside with tread on the inside. I havent driven the truck in a few weeks so once i get a new tire ill update you guys- Fastcat

codes P0401 & P1131
Need to get emmissions done and have these 2 codes. Could cleanint the egr valve more than likely solve the 401 code. And which o2 sensor do i change? Any tips or tricks or writeups on replacing these parts would also be appreciated.- Fastcat

somethings wrong with???
Please help. It only accurs at highway speeds (50+mph) and like i stated it makes a whining noise for a few secs then it pulls to the right (pass side)... I have a 00 awd expy. Today I was on the hiighway and I heared a slight whine from the front end. Then I felt what I think is the 4wd engage but it didn't stay that way. It wined and I can feel something going on with the front end off an on for about 10 miles No lights came on or anything...- Fastcat
