Newb knocking the dust off of old faithful
Welcome. Search for the Gotts mod. Many on here have tried it and have gotten good results as far as mpg and performance.- mrocks05

moaning noise in reverse
I too have never torn a differential apart although I have replaced a few in tractor trailers. I would think that if there is play in a bearing it is probably bad especially if you see some scoring on them or any part in the dif for that matter. Just my 2 cents.- mrocks05

Rain water collecting in rear passenger doors
I know some people have had this issue on the Freestyle forum that I'm on. Evidently it is normal for water to go in the doors because of the way the electric windows are set up. There is probably a drain that is blocked somewhere on the door. Find it. Clear it. Problem solved. That's my...- mrocks05

Take the belt off of the power steering pulley, the pulley, and pull it in and out to see if you feel anything hanging up inside or play.- mrocks05
