    im also not real sure what you did with the old 02 but that will not rule out the cat I think the idea of removing the upstream is to let out exhaust, telling you that there is a restriction inb the exhaust, but you have to leave it out and start it.

    yup, if you havent picked it up yet, just know one ball joint (lower I think) is replaceable, the upper, you have to buy an entire a arm....unless im wrong and sombody figured out how to get it out.

    P0118 dilemma

    on my 2000 5.4 I have both. the cht is under the drivers side front of the intake. the alt has to be removed to get to it. ect was in the intake, after the thermostat housing and very easy to change.
