I drained the transmission pan, cleaned, changed filter. I removed the bell housing plug and have the Torque Converter drain bolt in the "window".
My concern is starting the engine with an empty Torque Converter, even though the transmission is full of fluid.
Is this an issue? Has anyone done...
Checked the Vacuum line going through the firewall.
Found an abrasion right at the connector.
Cut off the bad piece with a razor blade and installed a new adaptor. $4.95 for an assortment at Auto zone.
Tested switch and everything worked fine.
I removed the vacuum line going from the check valve to the cabin.
Put a vacuum gage on the check valve and shut off engine.
No loss of vacuum. Tells me I am good at the engine bay.
After work, I pulled the battery and checked the vacuum tank and the check valve. Both seemed ok.
I pulled the radio/hvac control bezel and removed the fan/temp/diverter switch. I have no vacuum at the switch (black hose).
I need to did out my vacuum gauge. Is there a vacuum schematic, how...

The AC, front...
It's a split 60/40. The drivers seat in as wide as a captains chair. I would prefer one that mounts on the floor vs. resting on the seat. I wish it was a 40/20/40, then I could remove the center section and install a scavenged console.
I just purchased a 2001 Expedition with a bench seat. Front storage is seriously lacking. Does anyone make an after market center console? I am hopeing to find something with a good fit and is functional too.
Thanks, Steve.
