Steering wont return to center? Interesting issue.
My '06 was/is doing this also. As the weather is warming up, it's getting better. At times it doesn't want to leave center while going straight, and then if I slightly jerk the wheel to get past that point, it loosens up a bit. 2011 water inside passenger rear door
Every door will get water in it as the felt strips can't fully prevent water from getting between the glass and the door. Just have to make it a habit of cleaning the bottom of the doors whenever you wash it.- Stoned06

Now that you mention it, this is true. I had an electric actuator that locked out the brake line pressure to the trailer when the vehicle was put into reverse. Forgot about that as the boat has been gone for a couple of years.- Stoned06

Tekonsha Prodigy/P3 is what I was thinking of. yellercobra is right about the electric brakes and water, as that is why boat trailers are usually surge brakes. You would just need the 7 pin hookup at the hitch, and a electric brake controller and harness (comes with the towing package) that plugs in under the dash. I personally haven't run e-brakes, but I have heard of a couple really good controllers that aren't too expensive. I'll just have to try...- Stoned06

The problem may lie with the type of trailer brakes. Most boat trailers have surge brakes that won't allow the use of a weight dist. hitch that will be necessary to pull that much weight. Anything over 6000 lbs on a second gen Expy requires the use of a WDH. If the trailer has electric...- Stoned06

Time to refresh my suspension... Help!
Not sure you will find bushings for the lower control arm. I searched, and came up empty. It is my understanding the bushings aren't replaceable on the second gens. Can they be removed with some work, probably, but not having any aftermarket parts to put in there is the issue.- Stoned06

To replace the upper arm ball joints, the entire upper arm needs to be replaced. The lower arm bj can be pressed out and replaced, but to replace the bushings, the whole lower arm has to be replaced. how to buff out these scratches???!!
What grit paper did you use to wet-sand? It looks like you need to use a more abrasive compound/pad to get rid of the sanding marks. Might need to use rubbing compound. Polish gets light scratches out, not sanding scratches. -

What 6K said!! Someone with production knowledge can better answer this, but the SD might not have had the 3V in 2005. I know Ford sometimes had carryover engines for one model, but not in another. So the Expy had the 3V in 2005, and the SD MIGHT have had a 2V. Just need to make sure...- Stoned06

IMO, shocks usually don't last 100K miles. If you don't think they need to be replaced, don't. But I would bet if you replaced them, you would be glad you did when it rides better.- Stoned06
