Hi all,
I have a 2010 Expedition King Ranch. Recently it quit blowing air from the top vents in the rear of the vehicle. No matter what the combination of selections from the main control or rear unit, there is no air blowing. Where should I begin ( I checked a few fuses and no joy, but there was no specific fuse with the description "Rear climate control" or "rear blower motor", etc...)

Thank you all in advance!

Is the back blower running? That is my first question.

X2 on Andy’s suggestion, check for blowing air. Keep in mind when you use the heat in the rear it normally blows out the floor ducts not the headliner ducts 90% of the time the way most people set it. If it’s set to come out the floor ducts you have to feel low for air movement or temp.

There is zero airflow coming from the top vents and you can hear the back blower running. There is heat coming in from the bottom but nothing from the top vents... As the summer drew to a close, there was zero air flowing from the top vents as well when I was running the A/C.

Well for heat you want it coming from the bottom and if you can hear it and feel warm air coming from the bottom your blower is working. Have you checked to see if the controls in the back are set to floor only? Not insulting your intelligence we all miss little things sometimes and just checking. if not a diverter somewhere must be stuck I’m not 100% on how the rear HVAC switches from floor to headliner vents. But for example in my truck whenever I turn the rear heat on it comes out the floor ducts, if I run A/C it comes out the headliner vents.

Then I’m
Thinking it’s a blend diverter door issue if you indeed had the a/c on and rear fan on high and nothing was coming out of the ceiling vents???
