When did the Expeditions start sending actual tire pressures readings via the TPS systems?
I have an after market Kenwood radio/GPS that monitors engine data including the TPS System. The info on the Kenwood shows actual pressures being displayed on the tire pressure screen but mine only shows a green condition ( pressure OK) or a red condition (pressure is low) for each tire.

I know the 15-17’s send actual Tire Pressure from the Sensors to the BCM, but no way to display that data because of the fact they Truck does not have a DDM(Module used in other Ford vehicles to display that Data).

You can see the Data with higher end Scanners or Apps with WiFi or BT OBDII adapters.

Our '16 only has a light that shows a low pressure. No info on which tire. Kind of aggravating after having an '07 Tahoe that showed individual tire pressure.

Again, The data is there, the ability to see it is lacking with in the OEM displays.

What is the easiest way to show it short of manually checking each tire?

Let me see if the free FORSCAN Mobile app can see it when I get home this afternoon. I am out and the Wife is Home with the Expedition. I will also try my Amazon cheaper wireless reader.

My 07’ also just gives a warning in the message center and a light if it gets low (I believe below 30 psi). Not sure if the computer actually knows the true pressures I assume it does if you use aftermarket setup that can access it. Otherwise the sensor would have to be the “brain” and know what is too low, this likely isn’t the case. If I remember correctly my owners manual states the TPMS sensors report pressure to the computer every 3-5 minutes and if it is below a threshold the computer sets off a warning. Info is likely there but we can’t access it.

Yep, Sensor makes no decision just sends the Data.

The set point can be adjusted via many programmers and FORSCAN. I use my Hypertech to increase the set point. The set point is the desired pressure not the point at which to alert.

Got a Setup that works...

This is on an iPhone Xs Max Running iOS 12.0.1

I am using a Kiwi 3 Adapter, the OBDFusion App(Free) with the Enhanced Ford Diags for 2017($9.99).

Add the Tire Pressure PIDs from the BCM(Body Control Module) to the Diag PID Screen. Sure I can add it to a DashBoard, but haven’t gotten that far.
