Power Windows Fail

Hello All; 2004 Eddie Bauer Premium model. The most frustrating thing ever happened this weekend. 1 by 1 all of my power windows stopped working. They will go down but will not go up. I can't possibly be the first person this has ever happened to. Who can tell me what is wrong and what the fix is please??

I would suspect the drivers master control switch. You need a dmm in order to test it.

My 2000 did a single drivers side window, that went down, but only went up by running a ground wire straight from battery. Mine turned out to be the relay for the power window. Your fuses and relays are different than mine, but if you do have a relay for your windows, you might try tapping on it, and see if any difference. Unfortunately, I'm afraid Stamp is right though, you probably got moisture in there, and is causing your grief. As always, let us know what the fix is

I will check the relays. I should say I will first find the relay, then check it.

You can get replacement controls off eBay. I think my master one for the drivers door was $35.

Problem solved......drivers master control switch. After I put the new one in I took the old one apart and one of the components on the circuit board was visibly smoked.
