Hey guys, new to the forum and just purchased a 2019 XLT 4x4 with the 202A package.

We went from a 2007 Navigator that we have been driving for 5yr now and were happy with but starting to show wear. It is now being moved to secondary vehicle duty. We have been very impressed with all the great features it has.

On the to do list:
I ordered some LED bulbs to replace the halogen low beams and fog lights with.

Also looking into some stereo upgrade options. It has the 8" Sync screen, but standard 9 speaker stereo that I am not overly impressed with. I am having a hard time finding upgrade options though.

Are there even any upgrade options for a 2019 headunit? Even upgrading my 2011 Limited would require $1K+ to maintain all functionality.

The head unit has many great features and I will definitely keep it, just looking for options on the audio side. I'd imagine there are those out there that have upgraded speakers and maybe amplification?

It’s very difficult with these new audio systems since most of them are tied into the BCM. This includes speakers amp ect. I’m sure it can be done. Might require a lot more work tho.

Led headlight bulbs will be hit-or-miss.
I’ve tried the morimoto 2 stoke which is thought to be the best led bulb on the market. However the light scatter and dark spots were very annoying. Perhaps a good quality hid kit would work better in the OEM projectors.

I ended up putting in a set of 55w 6k LED bulbs from amazon and am quite happy with them. A significant difference. The first set I accidentally purchased the high beams, so I just installed them and they are impressive as well.
