I would so do it, but I wouldn’t prove anything, cause I am not Stock right now, and I would have to drive like 300 miles tonight to do it!

Come on! Somebody stock, DO IT! Don’t need to roast them, just a little spin.

Loki ...FWIW, I had to go pick-up my daughter from a friend's house (in a neighborhood just East of ours) about two weeks ago. As we were about to exit their neighborhood, I looked up-and-down this major, 6-lane surface street and there wasn't a soul. I said, "Shall we see what this thing can do?" ...she said, "Wha?!" Now granted I punched it at about a 45-degree angle to my new Westbound direction, and was going thru a concrete, drainage transition, but the rear tires lit'up and stayed that way for probably 20-30'. I had it a bit "sideways" for a moment ...but the traction control quickly righted the tank. And by the time I looked down to see how fast we were going, I was at 60mph (coulda been 6 seconds ...coulda been 10, IDK).

Anyway...that wasn't me even really trying (very hard). I'm sure what you're saying is true. This is after all a vehicle with 375+ HP and 470 ft.lb torque. To believe that it's not possible to light-up the tires on this bugger is just ignorance of physics.

I'd go grab a video, but I've got just 2K miles on my Expy, and once was enough for me to know the tank has the capability. Maybe someday (when I have thousands of dollars falling out of my pockets) I'll build-out a 12-second, 3.5L EB Expy.

I can get my 35x12.50’s to burn out on my Expy. But with the price of tires I wouldn’t want to do it a lot.

People race lawnmowers, semi trucks, scooters, Segways, support trucks, tricycle’s, you name it. I don’t give a flying function what anyone says. You can race, modify and customize almost anything if that’s your thing and no one should give 2 cents about it.

Let me add a bit of gas to the mod and race it fire...

Besides the 19 Expedition, I have a 17' F250 SCREW 4X4 PS that is fully modified and tuned. Why? Because someday I may want to tie a chain around the devils beanbag and drag him out of hell doing 90MPH! With HP, torque, guns, ammo and now frigging toilet paper, I look at this way... better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I guess my "hick" is showing so better tuck that back in.

Would I tell everyone who owns one to do what I did? No. Would I fault or otherwise ridicule anyone for going beyond what I did? Hell no! Even if I disagreed with the idea of doing it I'd still support and be in awe that they went through the effort.

This forum has gone completely nuts. Polluted with delusional, 4th gen whack job, road heroes. Racing lawn mowers now? With the large amount of engine problems, you guys should be taking it easy. It seems those engines can't go past 10K without taking a $hit. Have fun in the service dept waiting room...

Well RJ ...I'm not sure I really have enough experience with my rig to speak definitively; however, I can certainly say that there is a dozen of you in EVERY forum I frequent. From Duramax forums, to Harley-Davidson Touring bike forums, to forums about Hondas, RVs or what oil to use ("Bob is the oil guy").

I'll give you this ... the 99-04, 4.6L and 5.4L 2V was probably the best engine that Ford ever made. I have seen some amazing builds (in multiple Ford platforms) ...and even though I grew-up a GM guy, I have a love for many Ford platforms / powerplants as I do Chevrolet's, GMC's & old Pontiac's.

What I don't understand is your insistence on maligning those that are finding ways to improve the latest gen Expy (and 3.5L EB). Admittedly, I only have 2K miles on my '19 ...but it has done nothing but impress me so far. Outside of pulling a 5th-wheel, in terms of overall capability, I love everything about this ride ...probably more than my Duramax (and "real trucks" are actually my favorite platform).

Why you got such a bug up the sphincter bud? ...cool off.

This 'video' has been debunked 6 months ago. The Expedition had thousand of dollars in intercooler and off road exhaust mods. There are running E85, which is not allowed, according to Ford. The Video caught the attention of Ford engineering. They claimed the Expedition, is already making 100% power. The engine has cam shafts for towing, not high end racing. There is no hidden reserve power. The Mustang GT and 4cyl Ecoboost out perform the Expedition.

Why so angry?

Also, why quote the word video as if it was not real? People do that as a sign of mocking something. Are you mocking me? Why? That is really weird. I posted a real video, not a pretend video.
