Check what Hertz is getting for their resales. I think their prices are pretty much rock-bottom. The cars are usually well optioned XLT's. Add a few bucks for your Limited, subtract for mileage, and you'll get a good idea if the price is fair.
I’m a bit late, sorry. I’ve currently been doing the same research on ‘-15-‘17 models in Seattle and Phoenix. The few ‘17 Limiteds I’m found fall right into the price range you’re quoting. I think it’s a fair price if in very good to excellent condition
I'm in Utah and just bought a 2016 Limited with ~60,000 miles for $28,200. It was from a small dealer. It seems a tad high compared to what I saw when I was looking, but not outrageous
I bought a 2017 Limited with many options including the tow package from Economy Auto Sales last year with about 56,000 miles. The price was around $26,000. I've been happy with it. They claim that their rental vehicles are serviced on regular schedules and all issues are taken care of. I also purchased a Ford extended warranty just in case.
Florida vehicle should as value, most cars/trucks from there are really clean underneath compared to salt belt. Will buy all my new to me vehicles from the deep south and always have car fax and maintenance records. Price varies in different areas by thousand dollars or more. Like the 5.4 so my replacement would have to be 2015 or earlier.
