if that timeline holds, you are batting well above average. Many have waited 6+ months, including myself. Meanwhile used car values seem to be cooling off, which is the worst timing possible for me as my new Expy arrives in 2 weeks.

This just posted on B.O.F.

  • The following information announced previously regarding production changes for Rear Climate Control and 2nd Row Heated Seats will no longer require action at this time:
    • Please be informed that the May production action described to remove the Rear Climate Control and 2nd Row Heated Seats from all Expeditions (except 102A SSV) is deferred due to the ability to secure chips to support production of these parts for the near future.
    • We do not need to action the delete option right now, but it has been created in the event it is required in the future.
    • Ford is working diligently to protect production as much as possible, which is why this option has been enabled so that we can continue production if the shortage becomes imminent in the future. We will be back with more information on this particular shortage if the situation changes.
Very good news!!! I hope the same is true for the Multicontour

I took that post to mean nomore 2022s will be built eith massage seats, rear climate, or rear heated seats, so they have enough chips for 23s. Did I comprehend wrong?

Sounds like Ford has acquired all the chips needed to complete this MY’s production (or at least for May Production). They are going to leave the delete option open in the event they run out of chips again.

My 3/22 into production and 3/29 production date for my 303A Max is now scheduled to arrive 6/23-29 per an actual update from Ford. I'm not happy with Ford at all.
I'm not happy with Ford either, but it feels like I don't have much leverage in the new vehicle market now.

I went round and round with several Toyota dealerships regarding a 4runner limited and it was like talking to a brick wall. And they don't really care what the customer wants, you have to choose from their allocation.

Strange times.

Yep, we ordered on 11/12 and I'm now stuck "in production." And my window sticker no longer shows up on the web-based tracking site.

Hello there - I received the confirmation for my order but no communication yet related to the "Scheduled for Production". I remember seeing the schedule for production would start tomorrow and first built in January 18th.

Have you guys who ordered received any updated as far as scheduled for production?

Very good question -

Even being one of the first customer order for the 22 MY, I have not.

After 6 schedule changes it is now planned to be build on the week of May 30th .

I got so mad and tried to shop around and unfortunately it is a seller's market, we have absolutely no leverage.

They are charging at least MSP and do not accept X-plan, so the difference in the Platinum trim is +6 K or more from what I ordered mine.

The only vehicle in the same class you can find in the lot and try to have some discount is the Jeep Wagoneer, however the design in my opinion is not the best (it is better in person although still too square ) and lack of Blue Cruise is a deal breaker for me.
