    I pulled the config from a random 2024 Expo, and it shows a 1 here. If you have FORScan, it seems like this can easily be disabled in the BCM. You can set it to a 3 to disable the inclination aspect of it, or set it to a 0 to turn it off completely. You can always just flip it back on if needed...

    The Comma AI device kicks Bluecruise's butt up and down the street. However, Ford added TRON encryption to the newer models, so it no longer works on most newer vehicles. In the case of the Expo, it can only be added to the 2022-2024 model years.

    Yes, it can be completely disabled with FORScan if you want to get rid of the "keep eyes on the road" message and still be able to use lane centering. Many people have done it after BC expires if they don't plan on renewing the subscription.

    In that case, that button may be hard coded into the climate bar itself and cannot be removed. There are ways to add/remove the heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel from the climate bar, but I don't see anything else related to the front defrost function in the APIM.

    Correct.I am not sure what year this started on the Expos, but on the F150, the IPC started to get managed by the APIM in 2024 and newer models.

    I would not worry about it. I have taken apart the dash on my F150 and my girl's Bronco on multiple occassions and it's fine, and I'm not a technician. Glad to hear they figured it out, though.

    Oh yes......for sure. I have seen many cases were a module went bad and could not be updated via FDRS or the OTA process. This will cause a bottleneck effect since certain updates have to be installed in a certain order. This is true for APIM, GWM, TCU and (sometimes) IPC updates.

    I don't think it's the APIM. GWM maybe.....TCU probably. This is 100% a lack of connectivity issue. Notice the OTA triggers expire exactly 2 weeks after they are sent. That's because an OTA trigger (for non-inhibit updates like this one) is only valid on the server for two weeks for the vehicle...

    It is under the console. See attached. However, I am still confused as to why there are no codes. It is VERY rare for any of these newer vehicles to show no codes at all.....not even stored codes.
