Well, I guess I'm going to try... I just ordered some 1/2" spacers to go along with the tires too. I checked it out and it doesn't look like adding even another 2" on the inside of the wheel wells will result in any rubbing, I think my only major issue will be when I turn, and hopefully the...
That's too bad, I was really hoping I could fit these tires and get that 'wide' stance I've been trying to get. Oh well, it's not worth going through all that trouble, even if they're a good deal.
Well, I found a great deal on a set of 375/60/18 Mickey Thompson MTZ's... and I mean a REALLY good deal.
I am very concerned that I will have major trouble fitting these tires.
Currently I'm running 6" of lift in the front and 5" of lift in the rear with 35" tires... (they clear no...
So to simplify things,
the ONLY bolt pattern we can use is 5x135 UNLESS we get wheel adapters, correct?
Kind of sucks, but on the other hand I wanted to get spacers anyways so I could probably just get them for a different bolt pattern when I buy new rims.
Is there another bolt pattern that would work on the 97-02 models?
I hear of a lot of people talking about 5x5.5 or something, but as far as I'm concerned it's only 5x135? Or are these the same thing? Sorry not 100% educated on bolt patterns.
OK, so on the passenger side with the good CV axle, the control arm is touching the frame and rides fine.
The side with the bad CV axle (driver side) the control arm touches the fame as well.
When I replaced the bad CV axle with the "new" one (defective) the control arm raised and was no...
Terrible front end bounce at any moving speed, including reverse and 4wd High and 4wd Low.
Front end is also very stiff and will not bulge when trying to bounce on it while it is parked.
This all started directly after replacing driver side CV axle. Used the original axle nut as well as the...
Don't think you'll run into problems as long as you have 02 sensors, but don't know if the computer will like it very much. Someone else probably will know.
Yeah I'm sure it won't make it quieter seeing as how I'm replacing the OEM cats with hi-flow cats... still leaving the rear 2 out, I just need to make sure it won't throw any codes or anything.
And I think I'd choose Nascar over low rumble lol
Having trouble with the locks, it's only 3 out of 4...
Mainly drivers side door. Going to switch actuator out to make sure before I switch the relay. Does anyone have a write up of how to replace the relay and where exactly is the actuator once I remove the drivers side door panel?
So currently I have my rear 2 cats deleted and true duals with flowmaster super 10's...
Would swapping my FRONT 2 OEM cats with Maggies make it a little louder? Or will the $200 exhaust job not do anything for me?
Also as far as sound goes for these 5.4's would you recommend an H pipe, X...
Sorry lol I figured that would sound confusing. The battery is draining with the key in the ON position without the engine running, when the engine is RUNNING, the battery does not drain at all and holds it's charge perfectly.
When the battery is on ACC, there are no issues.
I have no issues when the truck is running and moving, the battery tested good and the alternator tested good. They are both brand new.
When the engine is on but not running, the voltage gets really low and the battery begins to drain about 10 minutes in. If I don't crank the truck right away...
How big are the holes behind the emblems on the side of our trucks?
Was thinking about taking them off, and putting these on to cover the holes.

With all the money that pretty much all of us have put into our trucks, and the very little trade-in value these trucks have.... with the economy, it really isn't worth getting rid of them.
none of the same people are on here anymore...
seems we have lots of new members but none of the usual people are on anymore....
panda, walnuts, solisimo, dgray, nvycrmn, racenut, etc....
