Is there another bolt pattern that would work on the 97-02 models?

I hear of a lot of people talking about 5x5.5 or something, but as far as I'm concerned it's only 5x135? Or are these the same thing? Sorry not 100% educated on bolt patterns.

So do Nissans and Jeeps in some years...

The problem though is the center hole issue. Jeeps, early Chevys, some Toys and Nissans use a big hole. Later Chevys, some Toys and Nissans use a smaller pattern.

So to simplify things,

the ONLY bolt pattern we can use is 5x135 UNLESS we get wheel adapters, correct?

Kind of sucks, but on the other hand I wanted to get spacers anyways so I could probably just get them for a different bolt pattern when I buy new rims.

correct 1st gens are 5x135. and i think minimum 16" rim to clear brakes. I know 2nd gens its 17" rims to clear brake calipers.

This now is kinda leaving me confused...

My '01 with a 3/01 build date has 17's... I bought it used, but the door sticker shows 265/70-17 as the stock size. Were 17's optional???

whowey is yours in eddie bauer? i believe like some other vehicles that the more "luxury" higher end options on vehicles come with a larger diameter rim.
