    You know, I was also wondering if the Expedition came with heated mirrors. I too was expecting the wavy lines on the mirror. Nice to know we actually have them since over here we are expecting a bucket load of freezing rain.

    This can happen in any vehicle. Bad design decisions aren't limited to Ford only. My other car is a Lexus ES350. Basically a really nice Camry. It also has window problems. Lots of posts about owners having the driver's side window fall down. It's held in place by a cheap plastic clip.

    I use regular. I can't imagine any mileage gain would make up for the price difference between the two fuels.

    So when the salesman said the truck came with remote start, I said yeah whatever, never needed it before. Now though with temps dipping below -30 C at night and sitting around -20 C during the day I'm glad I have it. Wish the seat warmers would stay on though.

    I have one! It's black though. I build my own PCs and it comes in handy. Sometimes lining up the CPU in it's socket was incredibly tricky especially the later Skylake cores. Recently I fudge it up and had to very carefully realign one of the pins, if you can call it that.

    We looked at the 2017 Armada when considering the Expedition. The thing we didn't like about it was how the third row didn't lie completely flat when folded down. It seemed a little smaller too and I think it was pricier. Maybe that's change for 2018.

    I've always like Meguiars products. You really don't need anything special for your particular vehicle so don't spend extra on a "Ford" approved product. Just use a good product.

    Note that the door opener can be reset if you hold down the learn button too long. This happened on mine and I had to reprogram all my vehicles again.

    This is how my Oddy and Lexus worked. Do you have a keypad outside for the garage door? If so and since the truck is going to stay outside maybe don't program the homelink buttons. A bit of PITA but maybe worth it if you are really worried about being broken into.

    I believe 2.2 will give you Android Auto and Apple Careplay support. Note that your truck must have the upgraded USB hub installed for this to work so it isn't just a software fix.

    I've gone through this with my Lexus and have to agree to Gixer. The trouble is that your standard halogen bulb is omnidirectional in its light output.
