yeah just something like that atleast... cause I wanna stick it back on so the billet grille doesn't look so plain but i mean theres nothing else on the truck that is blue so i feel like it just doesn't flow... but if it had a black background or burgundy to match the color of my expo then...
I think I remember someone talking about it on this forum or the other forum, maybe not.
But the OEM ford grille emblem has the blue background, is there any way or any place where you can get them black or even have the background the same color as your vehicle? that would look so bad ass
HAHAHA! :rotflmao:
let's hope that doesn't happen again... I wish I had the money to get a 6" fabtech lift or something... then I'd never get stuck. Maybe I'll save up for that and some new tires. I'll probably have the money by the time I'm... 58?
I installed my lower grille, and got rid of the front license plate holder... but after drilling in the grille and screwing it in and everything i see that the top of it sticks out about half an inch at the middle... why?
When you look at it from a distance the horizontal bars of the grille...
to my knowledge you are supposed to put the spacer on top of the coil. But now that I think of it I don't see why you couldn't put it on the bottom of it.
yeah like panda said, you'll fit about a 33" tire even w/o the torsion twist. I'm running a 32.6 inch tire (285/65/18) with stock suspension. I'm going to upgrade the suspension with cranking the stock torsion bars and adding a set of 2" coil spacers in the back. Hopefully I'll be able to fit a...
If one of you guys is bored and wants to do a good visual thorough walk through of how to stick the spacers on top of the coils and twist the torsion bars I'll do it this weekend in the garage or at one of my friends places
I know I can do all the work myself, I just don't have the time or the patience. I'd much rather pay a "professional" to do it for me.
He said I should only get rear shocks cause he said something about the stock ones not being long enough cause the spacer going over the coil.
Idk, either...
So I went to Super Trucks today (a place that does off road work for SUVs and trucks) and they told me they could install my spacers and do my torsion bars for around a hundred bucks. But the guy told me that he could probably only get about an inch with the stock keys and that I need to get new...
I think yours looks fine. your tires are a little bigger than mine though. I'm doing 2" spacers and probably gonna do 2" in the front to level it out. Plus my tires rub right now anyways so I could use the extra space
