    the breaking more is what im affraid of. is it possible that the leak is just from the stud and the gasket is ok? id rather just do the one stud to avoid more studs but dont want to have to go back and do it all over again

    You could get one of the led light bars that clear when off. Just make sure its Amber when on so the real cops cant bust you for impersonating. But a lighter on the roof of an SUV def makes the left lane open up for you ;) and the cop wheels are just black factory steel wheels with a chrome...

    i took and sprayed the guides the cables go through too. just kinda worked them up and down while spraying/cleaning the cable

    that happened on my third gen. do you have a cable that brings the window up and down? mine has a cable that runs through a couple wheels and guides and was grimy. i cleaned/lubed it and its fine.

    i have heard the earlier you do them the better your chances for no issues. i did mine at about 75k( bought truck with 70 so i dont know if they were done) and i only had one seperate. the removal kit i bought was from ebay and worked great. i head to let them sit with some pb blast sprayed...

    we have a pair on our fire dept expy. i dont know the make but those do have a little nub with a rubber pad that sits a hair away from the lense.

    I'm not sure on the width but spacers can achieve that if needed. Not sure what I would do about the rear struts.
